Emily Blunt‘s long-time stylist, London-born Laini Reeves, created a fresh yet sophisticated look inspired by the iconic finger waves of the 1920’s. “We wanted to create a look that was very different from any that Emily had worn before,” she said. “Once I saw the gown, I knew that a modern look based on the waved looks of the 20’s was the perfect compliment for the design.”

Reeves tells us how she created Blunt’s look using Moroccanoil products.

1. Shampoo hair with Moroccanoil Moisture Repair Shampoo to leave it soft, shiny and well conditioned for the intricacies of styling.
2. After mixing a cocktail of Moroccanoil Intense Curl Cream and the original Moroccanoil Treatment, work the blend from the middle to the ends of the hair to control ends and flyaways and provide natural-looking, soft hold.
3. Next, make a low side-part on the right and then pincurl the hair in alternating patterns towards the left and behind the right side.
4. Mist Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray on wet hair and let it air dry for one hour while applying make-up.
5. Once the hair is dry, release the pincurls and rake fingers through hair. Use a panel brush to keep hair flat to the head so it doesn’t disturb the root movement of the wave, and gently brush from part to ends so hair falls into a lovely wave.
6. Finally, shape and style the flow of the look by framing the left side of the face with a cascade of waves. Place a hidden pair pin to hold it in place.
7. To accent the look, attach a diamond accessory in the hair above the right ear by crossing two bobby pins, clipped on the earring, and sew it in with silver thread.
8. Set style with a quick mist of Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray to give the hair a beautiful hold without compromising on softness, movement, or shine.

Frederic Fekkai celebrity stylist, Renato Campora, created a soft yet glamorous style for Anna Paquin.

1. On wet hair, apply the Fekkai Full Blown Volume Styling Whip to the roots and the Fekkai Coiff Perfecteur Anti-Frizz Silkening Crème.
2. Once dried, used a ½ inch curling iron and set the hair in pin curls.
3. After 15 minutes, remove the curls and run fingers through the hair to loosen and create shape.
4. Next, pull the hair back into a high French twist, revealing the nape of her neck, and secure with bobby pins.
5. To create volume, loosen the hair at the crown of her head, resulting in a softer, yet ultimately glamorous style.
6. Finish the look with Fekkai Advanced Sheer Hold Hairspray.
