Who’s Leaving Wisteria Lane? It could be just about anybody. Taking cue from Lost, Desperate Housewives will either go back or forward in time, which means a few somebody’s won’t be around next season. Go back– there’s no Mike or Orson. Fast forward a few years, they’re both proud papas with toddlers or maybe even teenagers. Or could one of the girls be on their way out? Stay tuned for the season finale!

SUMMER HOT CONCERT SERIES

Email This Post
nellyfurtadosinging.jpg Get ready – international singing sensation Nelly Furtado is bringing her Get Loose Tour to the states for 17 live shows! The Get Loose Tour started in Europe with 23 shows over five weeks, then moved to her native Canada. First stop, her birthplace Victoria, British Columbia where the mayor’s office proclaimed March 21 as Nelly Furtado Day.

The tour includes four backup dancers, her six-piece band with popular Toronto rapper Saukrates on percussion who will also fill in for Loose producer Timbaland, from whistling on “All Good Things (Come to an End),” to rapping on the duo’s monster hit, “Promiscuous.” If that isn’t enough, Saukrates will also double as the opening act.

The show is inspired by one of the hottest cities in the country – Miami. “There’s palm trees on the set, white palm trees and a white stage, and it’s got a little bit of drama to it. I think the show’s a little more sensual or sophisticated, but I keep the primary focus on the songs,” says Furtado.

This has definitely been Furtado’s year! She was nominated for a Grammy, took home five Juno awards which is the Canadian equivalent of the Grammys, and won for Best International Female Artist at the Brit Awards in the U.K. in February.

Check out nellyfurtado.com for tour details.
