E! Entertainment Special: THE BACHELOR – Then & Now
By Julie Wiegan
Andrew Firestone, Matt Grant, Deanna Pappas, Andy Baldwin, Bob Guiney, Jillian Harris, Rozlyn Papa and other cast members from The Bachelor talk about their experiences on and off the show on E! Entertainment Special: The Bachelor – Then & Now.

Here are select quotes from the special:
“The girls all came into the show already in love with Bob because they had seen him on “The Bachelorette” show and they were ready to hook up pretty fast. And so it worked out for old Bob.” – Mike Fleiss, Creator, The Bachelor
“I randomly got found in a nightclub in London one night. I was working in uh, in finance in the city, kind of a stockbroker and this American woman came up to me and she said, “I saw you when you walked in do you wanna be on the Bachelor?” And I was like “um, what’s the Bachelor?” She gave me her card and I got home, and I just googled it and I literally wet myself. I thought this is going to be a hell of an adventure.” – Matt Grant, The Bachelor, Season 12

2 commentsE! True Hollywood Story: CHARLIE SHEEN
By Sara Moore
In this new special, Hollywood madam, Heidi Fleiss, sits down with E! to talk about her personal experience with Charlie Sheen. She said, “One of my girls came back one day and said, ‘Charlie wanted me to dress as a cheerleader.’” Fleiss’ comments on celebrity justice: “I love it. Charlie gets two million an episode and I go to prison.”

Some of Sheen’s former girlfriends including Ginger Lynn Allen, Cathy St. George and Dolly Fox, provide intimate details about their time with Sheen. “Let’s just say he can charm the pants right off you,” St. George said.
Despite the ups and downs of his personal life, some believe Sheen is really just a hopeless romantic looking for love. Actor Keith David comments, “Is he a saint? I don’t think so. But is he as big of a sinner as people want to make him out to be? I don’t think so either. Unfortunately, you don’t hear one damn thing about what good things he did, what charities that he contributes to or how he takes care of his children.“
E! True Hollywood Story: CHARLIE SHEEN premieres August 11 at 10pm EST/PST only on E!

The Glades
By Abbey Khan
In the new A&E drama, The Glades, homicide detective Jim Longworth (Matt Passmore) is shot by his captain after being wrongfully accused of sleeping with his wife. When Longworth is fired from his department and receives a settlement for the shooting, he relocates from Chicago to the sleepy, middle of nowhere town of Palm Glade, Florida.
The town offers plenty of sunshine and golf and crime seems to be at a minimum, but when people keep turning up murdered, he realizes this town isn’t as idyllic as he thought it would be. Instead of focusing on his short game and trying to get a date with beautiful medical student Callie (Kiele Sanchez), who has a 12-year-old son and a husband in prison, he realizes the skies in this new town are always sunny… with a chance of homicide.
Recommendation: C
Don’t expect The Glades to be a highly suspenseful cop drama. The show is part comedy with the sarcastic witty lead characters, Jim and Callie, who garner a chuckle here and there, but overall this show falls short and fails to establish itself as either a drama or comedy. We’re still waiting for the next Monk.
The Glades premieres on A&E on Sunday, July 11 at 10/9C.
