TV Land has just picked up Ashton Kutcher's new reality series that...

Ashton Kutcher is at it again with a new social experiment reality series entitled Forever Young. TV Land has picked up the series for six episodes, which takes on ageism as it explores the generations’ ideas and misconceptions about each other.

The series bridges the generation gap as “Juniors” and “Seniors” work together to experience each other’s point of view to find out just how much they do or don’t have in common. When separated by five decades, six wars, and ten presidents, Forever Young explores how revealing and funny it can be when youth and wisdom join forces, whether in appreciation of the past, understanding the present, or preparing for the future.

Fox released a statement that Ellen DeGeneres, who replaced Paula Abdul as an American Idol judge in Season 9 has decided not to return next season. In her statement released by Fox, DeGeneres said, “A couple months ago, I let Fox and the American Idol producers know that this didn’t feel like the right fit for me. I told them I wouldn’t leave them in a bind and that I would hold off on doing anything until they were able to figure out where they wanted to take the panel next. It was a difficult decision to make, but my work schedule became more than I bargained for. I also realized this season that while I love discovering, supporting and nurturing young talent, it was hard for me to judge people and sometimes hurt their feelings. I loved the experience working on IDOL and I am very grateful for the year I had. I am a huge fan of the show and will continue to be.”

Even though DeGeneres has stepped down after only one season, she is leaving on good terms. “I loved Ellen’s passion for the artists and her nurturing skills. She brought honesty and optimism to our judging panel and I will miss her greatly,” show creator Simon Fuller said.

Andrew Firestone, Matt Grant, Deanna Pappas, Andy Baldwin, Bob Guiney, Jillian Harris, Rozlyn Papa and other cast members from The Bachelor talk about their experiences on and off the show on E!
Here are select quotes from the special:

“The girls all came into the show already in love with Bob because they had seen him on “The Bachelorette” show and they were ready to hook up pretty fast. And so it worked out for old Bob.” – Mike Fleiss, Creator, The Bachelor

“I randomly got found in a nightclub in London one night. I was working in uh, in finance in the city, kind of a stockbroker and this American woman came up to me and she said, “I saw you when you walked in do you wanna be on the Bachelor?” And I was like “um, what’s the Bachelor?” She gave me her card and I got home, and I just googled it and I literally wet myself. I thought this is going to be a hell of an adventure.” – Matt Grant, The Bachelor, Season 12

“Being on “The Bachelor” show definitely changes your life.” – Mike Fleiss, Creator, The Bachelor

“To me it was like match.com on steroids and hey, the network’s paying for these wonderful date experiences. So why not?” – Andy Baldwin, The Bachelor, Season 10

“My life really changed. Um, not for the best at first, because people saw the episode and it really was hard to be thought of as a professional and, and um, not the crazy girl.” – Rhonda Rittenhouse, The Bachelor, Season 1

“Before I went on the show, I was a restaurant designer. I, uh, was drinking too much wine one night with a girlfriend. I applied. And literally like five days later somebody called…I don’t think I was there to fall in love. I wasn’t attracted to Jason right away. Sorry, Jason.” – Jillian Harris, The Bachelor, Season 13

“There are a lot of embarrassing moments that were aired, obviously, from The Bachelor [but] I gained so much strength from that and the experiences after the show have led me to where I am now.” – Christi Weible, The Bachelor, Season 2

“There have been a few people that are just really angry. Just, you know, “how could you cheat on Jake” and “why would you go on there and take some other girl’s place?” “I hope you die.” They don’t even know me, that’s the crazy part.” – Rozlyn Papa, The Bachelor, Season 14

Heidi Fleiss and his former girlfriend's talk about their relationship with the actor...

In this new special, Hollywood madam, Heidi Fleiss, sits down with E! to talk about her personal experience with Charlie Sheen. She said, “One of my girls came back one day and said, ‘Charlie wanted me to dress as a cheerleader.’” Fleiss’ comments on celebrity justice: “I love it. Charlie gets two million an episode and I go to prison.”

Some of Sheen’s former girlfriends including Ginger Lynn Allen, Cathy St. George and Dolly Fox, provide intimate details about their time with Sheen. “Let’s just say he can charm the pants right off you,” St. George said.

Despite the ups and downs of his personal life, some believe Sheen is really just a hopeless romantic looking for love. Actor Keith David comments, “Is he a saint? I don’t think so. But is he as big of a sinner as people want to make him out to be? I don’t think so either. Unfortunately, you don’t hear one damn thing about what good things he did, what charities that he contributes to or how he takes care of his children.“

E! True Hollywood Story: CHARLIE SHEEN premieres August 11 at 10pm EST/PST only on E!

Check out the new PSA during the MLB All-Star Game tonight...

Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) and Major League Baseball (MLB) will premiere their new public service announcement starring Jake Gyllenhaal tonight at 8pm EST/5pm PST during the MLB All-Star Game on FOX. The PSA draws parallels between victory in baseball and the triumph of beating cancer through teamwork and collaboration with the message that an end to cancer is now beyond a dream; it is within reach.

After watching the PSA, mark your calendars! SU2C will televise their fundraising event for cancer research live and commercial-free on FOX on September 10th at 8pm EST/7pm CST. ABC, CBS, NBC, VH1, HBO Latino, TV One, G4, Discovery Health, E!, MLB Network, and The Style Network will also broadcast the special.

Katie Couric, Diane Sawyer and Brian Williams, anchors of the CBS, ABC and NBC evening news broadcasts will host the telecast. There will also be live performances by recording artists and film, television and sports stars will present content that provides viewers with insights into cancer.

“Cancer claims one person every minute of every day in the United States– 1500 people every single day,” said film producer and cancer survivor Laura Ziskin, who is also producing the broadcast. “This year it will take the lives of more than half a million people in this country, and almost eight million people worldwide… Cancer is a crisis and we want to convey that ALL Americans can play a role in helping the scientists who are working to end it. We’re delighted that the entertainment community is banding together in such a big way to help us get that word out.”
