2009 ESPY Awards Style Studio
By Abbey Khan
At the 2009 ESPY Style Studio, athletes and celebrity guests, including Michael Phelps, Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield were greeted with heavy duty Undefeated military duffel bags to carry their goodies. Undefeated teamed up with EA Sports to create 30 limited edition bags with a hidden electronics pouch that encased a PSP or Play Station 3. Athletes were able to custom design a personal laser engraving on these on site in the EA room.

Guests woke up to the sweet aroma of Marley Coffee, a new product that comes in five different blends and is made from organic whole bean. Pizza Fusion served delicious organic salads and chicken sandwiches, and Patron served drinks while also gifting their tequila kits, which included a hat, shaker, mints, shot glasses and of course tequila.
Men received shampoos, conditioners, and styling products for all hair types from AXE and were treated to Zirh mini facials. Muze Clothing handed out their t-shirts with classic movie lines to men, women, and even pregnant women. Mom-to-be Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett picked out some of her absolute faves! Russell Simmons’ jewelry line Simmons Jewelry Company gifted necklaces and bracelets made of stainless steel and rubber, while displaying other pieces made from conflict-free diamonds.

They also signed up for the new celebrity only social networking site Namedrop.com and walked away with iHome portable speakers, keyboards and wireless mouses, fashionable Skullcandy headphones, $500 gift cards to Wynn hotels, Pure Power Mouthguard performance enhancing device, certificates to fly on Sentient private jets, and invitations to attend The Breeder’s Cup World Championship races in Santa Anita in November.
