Reebok Classics celebrated the 54th Annual Grammy Awards by hosting an ultra-exclusive gifting suite and gallery opening of classic photographs by celebrity photographer Jonathan Mannion. The two day event, which was held at Milk Gallery at Milk Studios in Los Angeles, also featured performances by DJ Quik and Big Daddy Kane, and included an artist discussion with The Game.
Celebrities picked up tees, jackets, and sneakers from Reebok Classics’ colorful Spring line and styles from Reebok’s ongoing collaboration with the Basquiat estate. Men’s shoes included Ex-o-Fit Hi, Workout Mid, Classic Leather, Kamikaze and Dibello Mid Stud, and women’s shoes included the Freestyle and Chi-Kaze. Just some of the VIPs that came out to support Reebok and Mannion were Omarion, Rocsi Diaz, Teyana Taylor, and Swizz Beatz, who collaborated with Reebok last may on the Limited Edition Kamikaze shoe that sold out in just minutes.
Mannion’s tour, which is sponsored by Reebok, premiered at Art Basel in Miami in December. The exhibition includes photographs of the most famous hip-hop and music artists today including, Jay-Z, Aaliyah, Ice T, Lil’ Wayne, and many more. All photos are currently available for purchase.
Film and tv stars came out to the first Oscar lounge of the season, which was produced by Doris Bergman in association with Michelle Lee Faulkner. The 4th Annual Valentine Romance “Sneak Peek” Oscar Suite at Café La Boheme attracted former Oscar winners Michael Clarke Duncan and Louis Gossett, Jr., as well as celebrities including Eric Roberts, Judd Nelson, William Shatner and many more. Single by Galina Sobolev showed off their new line of Spring dresses; Road Kill Boutique displayed vintage-inspired accessories and gave guests large metallic clutches; Dulcenea handed out sexy pink panties, perfect for Valentine’s Day; Tee’s by Purple Girl Clothing had what else, but tees; and SMYLE, a family-owned business that makes tees and caps with a positive message for both men and women were delighted to share this message with guests.
Jewelry lines included Lusciouss earrings and necklaces; an array of affordable Twisted Silver jewelry; and LYON Fine jewelry. Art Lewin returned to the suite to customize dress shirts and more for men; Charlie Lapson loaned out evening bags from his collection; and everyone absolutely fell in love with the Baron Hats and the adorable couple behind the brand, who have customized hats for Grammy winners Jakob Dylan and his father Bob Dylan.

What’s a Valentine’s Day suite without chocolate? Non-existent of course. That’s why there was plenty to go around– Pauline’s Pecan Brittle which was not too hard so you didn’t have to worry about chipping a tooth; island inspired flavors from Bootleg Chocolate; and for those who like it hot, there was the TABASCO® Brand Dark Spicy Chocolate Wedges from The Chocolate Traveler.
Alcoholic beverages included Hacienda de Chihuahua Sotol Plata Tequila and Blue Angel Ultra Premium Vodka, and non-alcoholic drinks included different flavors of Honest Tea and Kusmi Tea.
Guests enjoyed passed tray appetizers and later on sat down to a lunch cuisine created by 5-star executive chef, Christine Banta. Appetizers included mini maryland blue crab cake with serrano mint aioli; grilled jumbo shrimp with romesco sauce; chicken satay with spicy peanut sauce; grilled new york strip on a garlic crostini with horseradish sauce; vegetable spring roll with house plum sauce and Chinese mustard.
And if guests weren’t full from snacking on the appetizers, they lunched on grilled coulotte steak, chimichurri sauce; pan roasted petaluma farms chicken, tarragon sauce; house made focaccia, white bean puree, olive tapenade penne rigate, roasted vegetables, sun dried tomato sauce; mixed green salad, crumbled blue cheese, candied hazelnuts, house vinaigrette; bibb lettuce salad, applewood smoked bacon, cherry tomatoes, lemony buttermilk dressing; garlic green beans; basmati mushroom rice. Of course no meal is complete without dessert. Guests finished off with tasty treats that included valrhona chocolate cake; financier; butterscotch pudding; panna cotta; crème brulee; assorted cookies; candies; confections and seasonal fresh fruit.
