You may have seen all the on-screen action at the MTV Movie Awards, but what you didn’t see were the pre-event festivities where celebs received amazing goodies. So here’s the scoop.

This year the Silver Spoon Buffet went green by helping raise money for the Environmental Media Association (EMA) and by also having celebrities collect their freebies in environmentally friendly cloth bags from Whole Foods.

License2Bling Swarovski crystal plate frames were a big hit with all the stars! Kim Kardashian owns a pink Swarovski crystal for her pink accented Range Rover, and Rod Stewart’s offsprings, Kim and Sean each have one of their own so they’ll always have a rockin’ ride. These plate frames are so popular, that Paris Hilton will be getting a limited edition pink and silver polk-a-dot plate frame, made just for her, when she gets out of jail. License2Bling wants Paris Hilton to know “that although she may have lost her license to drive, she will never lose her License2Bling!”

Soap stars Deidre Hall and Kristian Alfonso (Days of Our Lives) don’t ever have to worry about another bad hair day. They walked away with the new Infiniti Conair Cordless Hair Straightener and Scunci No-Slip Grip high-tech hair accessories to keep every last strand looking perfect.

Haylie Duff just couldn’t get enough of Tulle. She and her stylist picked out a white eyelet top, mint wrap dresses, and hooded white wrap tops for her and her equally famous sister Hilary to wear on their trip to St. Barth’s. The original American Idol, Kelly Clarkson, Kevin Federline’s ex, Shar Jackson, and Samantha Harris (Dancing with the Stars) showed off their curves in Soul Revival’s goddess dress.

Other fashion must-haves included Gypsy 05’s t-shirts for both men and women, Fashion Forms’ lingerie accessories, Gold Toe socks for men and women, active wear from Mocha Fashion, and sterling and vermeil jewelry from Rebecca Norman.

When guests needed a break, they refueled with XS energy drinks, food from the new Hollywood hot spot Ritual, and Korean barbecue catering company Appa BBQ grilled it up on high-end barbecues from Emme Design.

GBK Productions held their suite at the exquisite Sofitel Hotel where Shannon Elizabeth (American Pie), Jorge Garcia (Lost), Rex Lee (Entourage), and newly skinny Ricki Lake participated in a late night poker tournament to raise money for charity.

GBK and World Poker Tournament Enterprises donated $10,000 in Jorge Garcia’s name to Michael J. Fox’s charity since he was the winner of the tournament. Garcia won the Lex Diamond watch valued at $10,000 while runner-up Shannon Elizabeth received the Pro Sun Tanning System as a consolation prize.

GBK also gave away almost $200,000 in donations and products to four charities, including Jane Kaczmarek and Bradley Whitford’s Clothes Off Our Backs, Kevin Bacon’s Six Degrees, Project Angel Food, and The Creative Coalition.

After doing some good, celebrities got some goodies of their own. They visited different themed rooms including the Baby room, the Fashion room, and the Summer room. Kevin Sorbo and his two kids stopped by the Baby room where they picked up a variety of items from the children’s boutique Duck Duck Goose and rock star clothing from Punk Baby.

Shannon Elizabeth loved her Revitalash lash conditioner, and couldn’t wait to use her gift certificates to The Massage Spot and American Laser Center, where she can be pampered and look even more flawless. Then she and some of the boys chowed down on Sky’s Gourmet Tacos and washed it down with the new Daredevil Energy Drink.

At Melanie Segal’s Platinum Luxury Lounge, celebrities such as Ben McKenzie (The O.C.) and Hayden Panettiere (Heroes) took home Olivia Garden hair brushes and combs, Japonesque eyelash kits, and Bijan Nude fragrances for both men and women.

Shar Jackson found one of a kind tops from B. Artiste Originals and felt a tad bit sexier in her new Bootleggers knee garter. Then she showed off her moves on the Dance Dance Revolution, an interactive game that provides a healthy and energetic workout, and kept hydrated with Figi water.

Before leaving, stars signed the “Platinum Luxury Lounge Celebrity Board” which will be auctioned off to raise money for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. For more information on ways you can help the Foundation, please visit www.pedaids.org.

Cameron Silver Receives High Honors

It was a day of fashion, celebrities and charity at this year’s Fashion For Life 2007 Vision Award ceremony. Supermodel Amber Valletta, television personality Debbie Matenopoulos and many other notables watched fashion icon Kristin Davis present the award to Cameron Silver, co-owner of Decades, Inc. and Creative Director of Azzaro. The ceremony, which was held at the famous Mercedes-Benz building in Beverly Hills, commemorated Silver’s artistic vision and personal contributions to both society and Los Angeles fashion.
