Gavin Rossdale goes solo at The Grove
By Abbey Khan

It was the perfect ending to the Donate Life Concert Series at The Grove on Wednesday in Los Angeles. Gwen Stefani sat in the audience watching her husband, Gavin Rossdale, perform songs old and new from his debut solo album WANDERlust and Bush tunes. He opened the show with Machinehead, singing nine songs total, including Love Remains the Same and Forever May You Run. Joining him was Jason Gaviati on keyboard, Mike Pedicone on drums, Corey Britz played bass and Chris Traynor played guitar.
Before Rossdale took the stage, Amy Kuney, whose music has been featured on One Tree Hill and Gilmore Girls and Varsity Fanclub, the up-and-coming five member boy band performed three songs each.
