Destiny’s Child to reunite

Destiny’s Child is getting back together. The former girl band that includes Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams are under contract with Columbia Records to produce one more album. No word on when the trio will reunite, but it should be some time after Beyonce finishes her current tour for her I Am… Sasha Fierce album. Rowland actually parted ways with Columbia Records and her long-time manager Matthew Knowles (Beyonce’s dad) earlier this year. She said, “Because Columbia Records has been my home base as an artist for more than a decade, the decision to move out on my own required a lot of soul-searching. As a solo artist, I felt the need to explore new directions.” The group originally split in 2005 to focus on their solo careers but have always maintained their friendship.
