Heigl stays; Getty’s out; Anna Nicole Smith musical

Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes is denying rumors that Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight are exiting the series. She stated at the NAACP Image Awards in Los Angeles, “That was a very interesting rumor. And it’s not true. Things happen, and I think rumors become fact very easily. And you know I don’t like to tell you what’s going to happen on the show- but that is a rumor.”… Looks like Balthazar Getty will be leaving Brothers and Sisters. Since his on-again off-again relationship with Sienna Miller and his unprofessional behavior on the set, Getty has been very unpopular on the set. His character will serve jail time and even be on the run in upcoming episodes… Anna Nicole Smith‘s life is being turned into a musical. But don’t expect to see it in the U.S., at least not any time soon. Britain’s Royal Opera is developing the new production and according to the company’s director of opera, Elaine Padmore, the show will be “witty, clever, thoughtful and sad.”
