Hugh Jackman to host 2009 Oscar Awards

Usually the Oscars are hosted by A-list comedians such as Ellen Degeneres, Jon Stewart, Whoopi Goldberg and Chris Rock, but next year the honor goes to movie hearthrob Hugh Jackman. Although he has never even been nominated for an Oscar, Jackman did win an Emmy for hosting the 2005 Tony Awards. The 81st Annual Academy Awards will air live on February 22, 2009.
