Lauren Conrad becomes L.A. Candy

Reality star, fashion designer, and now author! Just refer to Lauren Conrad as a triple threat. The Hills beauty signed a three-book deal with publishing house Harper Collins called L.A. Candy. The books will be loosely based on her life in which she goes from being a normal girl to a household name. “I’ve always loved books that I could lose myself in, ones that would transport me to another place, but had characters I could relate to. I’m so excited to have this opportunity to write books like that for other readers,” she said. Luckily the wait won’t be too long, the first book will be released next summer.
