Lindsay Lohan goes pop

Lindsay Lohan’s previous attempts at pop stardom with the albums Speak (2004) and A Little More Personal (2005) didn’t garner the famed actress much attention, but all that may soon change. Lindsay is turning to Aussie singer-songwriter Sam Sparro, who is making it big with his song Black and Gold, to co-write a song on her upcoming album Spirit in the Dark. Sam was recommended to Lindsay by Mark Ronson, who is the brother to Lindsay’s gal pal Samantha Ronson. Other artists that may contribute to this album include Timbaland, Kanye West, Akon, Snoop Dogg, and 50 Cent.
