Gossip Girl spinoff cast; Diddy’s v-blog; Jewel wheelchair bound

Gossip Girl fans will be relieved to know that the spinoff tentatively titled Lily has been fully cast. The lineup includes Cynthia Watros and Andrew McCarthy as Lily’s parents, Krysten Ritter as Lily’s older sister Carol, Shiloh Fernandez as Lily’s possible love interest, and of course Brittany Snow as a teenage Lily. Look for the pilot when it is integrated into the May 11th episode of Gossip Girl… If reading posts by Sean “Diddy” Combs on Twitter.com isn’t enough, now fans can watch him on his new video reality show, also on Twitter, which launched on Friday, March 5th… Jewel may be sitting out Dancing with the Stars in a wheelchair when it debuts Monday night. She tells In Touch Weekly, “I am on crutches and, if my right leg gets worse, I will be in a wheelchair… I did my MRI and pulled up my pant leg to get my shot, and the doctor came in and said, ‘You are finished, you cannot dance and you cannot walk.’”

Chris Brown’s MySpace post; Heroes renewed

After being formally charged with two felonies against Rihanna, assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury and making criminal threats in court yesterday, Chris Brown posted a message on his MySpace page asking fans to vote for him for two Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. He is nominated for Favorite Male Singer and Favorite Song for Kiss Kiss. The award show will be held on March 28th and Brown is due back in court on April 6th for arraignment… Despite low ratings, Heroes will be returning for a fourth season with 18-20 episodes. It was believed the show was to be canceled due to Greg Grunberg’s recent Twitter blog, where he wrote, “Winding down shooting Season 3 Heroes. Tough to say goodbye to crew not knowing if any or all of us will return next year…”

Jewel & O’Dell out, Madison in on Dancing with the Stars

It’s over for Jewel and Nancy O’Dell on Season 8 of Dancing with the Stars. Both women had to back out due to knee injuries. Jewel is suffering from a fractured tibia in both legs and O’Dell has torn the meniscus in two places in her knee. Girl Next Door star Holly Madison will replace Jewel. No word yet on who will replace O’Dell.



Megan Fox and Green reunite; Mischa Barton visits Melrose Place

Megan Fox is set to star in the action film Fathom, which is based on a comic book. She will play Aspen Matthews, a girl who has water-based powers and is adopted by a man in the military after she is found abandoned on a ship. Fox will produce the flick with her on again, off again fiancee Brian Austin Green… From The O.C. to Melrose Place, Mischa Barton is in negotiations to star in the remake of the ’90s hit show. The original series included cast members Kristin Davis (Sex and the City) and Marcia Cross (Desperate Housewives).

No Doubt free music; Sleepless in Seattle musical; HSM 4

No Doubt is giving fans free access to all their music online. The catch? They just have to purchase a high priced ticket to one of their summer concerts… Sleepless in Seattle, the 90′s film starring Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks, is being turned into a Broadway musical… High School Musical is back! The fourth installment will hit tv screens in 2010 with an entirely new cast. The story line will involve a love triangle between rivals East High School and West High School.
