Even though we’re nearing summer, there were quite a few nominees and presenters who wore long-sleeved dresses on the red carpet at the 2016 Tony Awards.

IN THE FLESH
“The Crucible” actress Saoirse Ronan presented an award in a nude Stella McCartney dress.
Nominee Sara Bareilles sparkled in a short-sleeved Gomez-Gracia dress.

SLEEVES
Mary Elizabeth Winstead wore a long-sleeved ball gown embroidered with constellations from Zuhair Murad.
Cate Blanchett presented an award in a long-sleeved leather pieced Louis Vuitton dress.
Cynthia Erivo had plenty to smile about since she took home the Tony for Lead Actress in a Musical for “The Color Purple” wearing a Roberto Cavalli gown.

Lucy Liu looked beautiful in a pale yellow chiffon Zuhair Murad gown.
“The Walking Dead” actress and “Eclipsed” writer Danai Gurira looked like a ray of sunshine in a sleeveless Rosie Assoulin dress.
Tony winner Renee Elise Goldsberry took home her trophy for “Hamilton” in a strapless Oscar de la Renta gown.

“Hamilton” actress Phillipa Soo showed off some leg in a Parbal Gurung dress.
Michelle Williams wore a white ruched Louis Vuitton dress on the red carpet.
