The limited collection hits stores today, but some of New York’s elite including fashionista Andre J, Kim Stoltz (MTV), Kelly Killoren-Bensimon (Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York), and Kevin Sayer (Run’s House) had a chance to preview the collection at an exclusive shopping event hosted by “American Boy” singer Estelle at the new H&M 86th Street store on Wednesday.

Estelle and Andre J showed their full support for H&M by wearing some of their designs. Estelle was in spring/summer mode in a long Matthew Williamson for H&M dress while Andre J donned a Róisín Murphy designed Fashion Against Aids bodysuit. They further enjoyed their shopping experience while listening to music spun by the famous DJ Kiss and sipped specialty cocktails from Belvedere.

On Sunday, Los Angeles based designer David Meister was honored with the Fashion for Life 2009 Vision Award for his contributions to Southern California style. Melissa Rivers hosted the annual event to help raise money for Friendly House, the oldest substance abuse recovery home for women in Los Angeles.

“It is an honor to be receiving the Fashion for Life Vision Award. I am a big believer in giving back and understand how important it is to enable and empower people who are trying to change their lives for the better. Friendly House embodies this philosophy and accepts everyone for who they are and recognizes the fact that in order to help themselves, they need a support system. Friendly House provides women in need with the essentials - a home, food and treatment. It is a privilege to support and be a part of raising awareness and funds so they can continue their mission,” said Meister.

In addition to the silent auction, guests enjoyed fashion shows by honoree David Meister, Trina Turk, Ina Soltani and Single. Just some of the celebrity guests in attendance were Melora Hardin, Leslie Bibb, Valerie Bertinelli, Viola Davis and Alison Brie, all of whom wore David Meister designs to the event. Charlie Sheen and his wife Brooke Mueller-Sheen also came out to support the charity and enjoy the fashion show.

It was a celebrity affair at Tuesday’s Loomstate for Target private shopping event at the Big Red Sun in Venice, California where Kristen Bell, Jaime Pressly, Adrian Grenier and many others snatched up the limited edition line by Rogan Gregory and Scott Mackinlay Hahn.

The eco-friendly collection is made from 100 percent certified organic cotton and includes iconic graphic tees and authentic washed denim. The affordable line ranges in price from $14.99 to $44.99 and will be available in select stores and online on April 19. Kristen Bell got ready for summer by purchasing pelican-print bikinis, shorts and organic cotton tees. True Blood co-stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer made it a shopping date as they cozied up by the fire and picked out his and hers tees. And funny girl Anna Faris entertained herself while sipping on vodka agua frescas.

Dainese may have been developed for professional motorcyclists, but their leather jackets and pants are not just for the Harley lovin’ crowd. New to the U.S., this popular Italian line is a must-have for self-proclaimed fashionistas and for the men in their lives. Think Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

Dainese recently transformed their Costa Mesa, California store into a runway where models showed off the latest looks from the 2009 collection. In addition to leather jackets and suits, the line consists of jeans, t-shirts, AGV helmets, riding gloves, shoes and bags.

Go classic in black and white. The SF Lady jacket (left) and the Dominia jacket (right) has the look of a sporty men’s jacket but tailored for a woman’s body.

The Tattoo Ykz leather jacket and suit is the star of the collection. You may just have to rename this the boyfriend jacket– buy it for him and then borrow it for yourself.

He’ll look perfectly relaxed in the Gran Premio Textile jacket, Toronto jeans, and Shift shoes on casual Spring days. And when he’s ready for a ride, he can just throw on the gloves and AGV K3 helmet in evil blue and he’s ready to go. Yes the boyfriend jeans are in this season, but the Toronto jeans also come in women’s sizes, so you won’t have to borrow his.
