Barbara Walters is back with her top 10 Most Fascinating People list. Making the list this year include Emmy winner and Sarah Palin impersonator Tina Fey, teen queen Miley Cyrus, movie stars Tom Cruise and Will Smith, and Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps. It’s been a busy year for Madonna. The “Material Girl” celebrated her 50th birthday in August; she’s currently on her worldwide Sticky and Sweet tour; she’s going through a divorce; and now she may be the new face of the Spring 2009 Louis Vuitton collection. Supposedly, fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott have already shot the campaign. Previous Louis Vuitton spokesmodels include fellow actresses and singers Jennifer Lopez and Scarlett Johansson.

Let the countdown begin! In March, British designer Alexander McQueen will launch his special edition line McQ Alexander McQueen for Target for the store’s new Designer Collaborations series. McQueen will be the first of established designers to participate in this collection whereas earlier this year up-and-coming designers such as Proenza Schouler were featured in the Target Go International collection. So what can fashionistas look forward to besides affordable prices? The inspiration for McQueen’s line will be Leila Moss, the lead singer of the British rock band The Duke Spirit.

Leona Lewis walked away with two awards– World’s Best Pop Female Artist and World’s Best New Artist. Fellow Brit, Amy Winehouse won the award for World’s Best Pop Rock Female Artist beating out Duffy, Pink and Katy Perry. Former Beatle, Ringo Starr, received the Diamond Award, which is given to musicians who have sold over 100 million albums in their career.

Kim Cattrall says it’s official! She confirmed that the Sex and the City sequel will start filming next summer while being interviewed by former Spice Girl, Melanie Brown, earlier this week on the The Paul O’Grady Show in the U.K. “Yes, there will be a sequel. We will do the sequel next summer.” The first Sex and the City movie grossed almost $400 million worldwide.

Tom Ford, the genius behind fashion empires Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent is now venturing into the movie business. The prolific fashion designer is writing and directing his first film A Single Man, which is based on the 1964 Christopher Isherwood novel about how a gay man deals with the death of his partner of 16 years. The film will star Colin Firth, Julianne Moore and Matthew Goode. In the meantime, you can catch Ford’s other Hollywood work in the James Bond movie Quantum of Solace, where he returns to his fashion roots by designing 007’s wardrobe.

Ben Lyons, E! channel’s resident film expert and new co-host of “At The Movies” shared his Oscar picks at the Movie Night on Xbox 360 event in West Hollywood last week. “Look for a Brangelina Oscar night. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are going to get Oscar nominations. Brad for his work in “Burn After Reading” and Angelina for “Changeling.”

When Ben wasn’t talking to us about the Oscars, he gave us his review on the latest version of the movie trivia game Scene It? Box Office Smash. “It keeps me on my toes. The questions help sharpen my knowledge. This latest version includes even recent movies I’ve reviewed this year.” Another new interactive film game to look out for is You’re in the Movies, which gives everyone the opportunity to create and star in their own film. Also introduced were original film shorts that can be viewed via Xbox LIVE with the exclusive Netflix Instant Watch service. The games will be available after Thanksgiving at GameStop and Best Buy stores.
