Paramount Pictures casting for “True Grit”

Paramount Pictures is casting for True Grit, a Coen Brothers film that starts shooting in Spring 2010. No Experience is Necessary!

The Role:
Fourteen year old Mattie is a simple, tough as nails, young woman in post Civil War Arkansas. Her unusually steely nerves and straightforward manner are often surprising to those she meets. She possesses plenty of true grit and determination. Enough so that she insists on going with 2 marshals to hunt down the killer of her father. We are looking for a girl who is tough, strong, and tells it like it is.
