While I find the selection of gifts to be beautiful, it’s a dream for many of us who cannot afford any of it. I am a member of etsy which is a handmade artisan website. what one finds on there will not only be unique, often OOAK (One-of-a-kind) and some of the most beautifully creative designs that cannot be found anywhere. Not only are you helping an individual, rather than an unknown entity, but anyone who has found gifts there have been delighted and tend to do their shopping for significant gifts there.Where else can you get a mermaid bookmark with gemstones and crystals on their tail that represent the birth month of your children and grandchildren.Be an individual and delight your friends by giving them something they can cherish, rather another “whatever” that they’ll throw in their closet or regift it to their secretary.

SHARON, could you just be bitter that your products aren’t in this gift guide? I checked out your website and you have some products that are close to $100. Most of the products here are less than $100, so how can you say “its a dream for many of us who cannot afford it.” I’d rather pay $100 for the silver luggage, which I’ll get a lot of use out of, than one of your little awkward kimono purses I saw. Some of the profits from these products even go to charity, do yours? And so what if there are some luxury items, there are people who can afford them and want to know about them, even if you don’t. Just because you can’t afford an item, it doesn’t mean that you can’t draw inspiration from it to buy similar gifts. Some of these companies are small or once were and have grown to be multi-million dollar corporations, and there’s nothing wrong with that. If you want to stay small, and earn pennies, that’s your choice on how to run your business. If I were the administrator of this site, I would have deleted your negative comment for attacking their work. If you want to sell your products, then take out an ad, oh but you probably can’t afford to because you don’t have any business. I would rather receive these “whatever” gifts as you call them than one of your creations, which I couldn’t even give to charity if I tried, I’d just have to toss it.
