Pink Living
By Julie Wiegan
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, make living in your home a little more pink!

Baking just got easy with the pink Stand Mixer by KitchenAid. $50 from each sale and a minimum of $1 million will be donated to Susan G. Komen, but consumers must register each pink product purchased at CookForTheCure.com to generate a donation.

Liven up your house with flowers! Sandra de Ovando, who has made floral arrangements for Mariah Carey and Hugh Jackman has created a special arrangement called Sweetheart ($245). 20% of proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen foundation.

Get your carpet clean with the pink Dyson vacuum. Dyson and Target are partnering up by donating $30 of each upright purchase and $10 of each hand vac purchase to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation for a total donation of $1.4 million.

Wipe your kitchen clean with Viva Paper Towels. They are donating up to $200,000, where 10 cents from each package sold, and $5 for each new consumer who becomes a member of its online Viva Diva Café will go to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Pop open that special bottle of wine with the L’Atelier du Vin pink twist wine opener ($39,95) at Red Envelope. 10% of the proceeds and up to $10,000 will be donated to the Susan G. Komen foundation.
