On the new late night series, Brand X with Russell Brand, the actor/comedian takes on the news of the day using his unconventional sensibility, spirituality, humor and status as a recently transplanted Englishman who gets to the bottom of what the news really means.
The half-hour show, produced weekly from a Hollywood night club, will be driven by Brand’s interaction with a live audience as he discusses pundits, news makers and activists – many of whom he calls his friends. Former Congressional policy adviser and Harvard University graduate Matt Stoller will appear on Brand X as a political, economic and historical consultant.
Brand X premieres on FX on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 11pm EST/PST.
