It was a star-studded affair at Queen Latifah‘s birthday party at Hollywood’s SIR Studios on Saturday night. Although she turned 39 on March 18th, Cover Girl threw Queen Latifah a birthday bash to celebrate the last year of her third decade. Being the workaholic she is, Queen performed a few songs and announced the release of her new album which will hit stores in July. First Queen sang solo, but she was later joined on stage by Missy Elliott, Lil’ Kim, MC Lyte, Yo-Yo and Lady Rage. She expressed her gratitude to them saying, “If it wasn’t for these ladies on this stage tonight I don’t know where I’d be.”

Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Doug Reinhardt showed their affection for Queen and each other in the front row. Socialite and reality star Kim Kardashian entered with her BFF Brittny Gastineau. Kim revealed to us that she just finished filming her fitness DVD which comes out in April and that she’s rooting for Lacey and Steve-O on Dancing With the Stars. Lindsay Lohan and her gal pal Samantha Ronson showed up for the after party. Queen’s mom, dad and stepdad all watched as she performed and Q-tip deejayed the event.
