Farrah Fawcett of Charlie’s Angels fame passed away Thursday morning at the age of 62 at a Santa Monica hospital after a 2 1/2 year battle with cancer. Her legendary hairstylist José Eber, who worked with Fawcett for over 30 years and was a close personal friend had this to say. “A golden child has been taken from this world to a better place. My life was truly blessed when Farrah and I found each other. She will remain alive in the hearts of all who loved her. Her generosity of spirit and beauty never dies. She is out of pain now and in God’s arms. I am sad to lose my dear friend, her smile will remain in my heart forever.” Fawcett is survived by her son Redmond whom she had with actor Ryan O’Neal… Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen just came out yesterday, but the movie already made over $60 million on its first day… When you watch the Oscars next year, be prepared to see ten nominees in the Best Picture category instead of the usual five. 2010 will mark the 82nd Academy Awards show and nominees will be announced on February 2, 2010
