When Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) returns to Woodsboro on her book tour, two high school girls are found murdered on the anniversary of the original killings. Sheriff Dewey Riley (David Arquette) must keep Sidney and the rest of the town safe before anyone else is found dead, while also keeping his nosy and ex-reporter turned author wife, Gale Weathers (Courtney Cox) from meddling with the investigation. But before Sidney can die, she has to watch her loved ones die including her cousin Jill (Emma Roberts) and aunt Kate (Mary McDonnell). Can she save them and herself?

Review: B+
Originally, I was skeptical about seeing this film. After all, it has been more than ten years since the release of the last film and I thought the Scream franchise died with that film. But Wes Craven managed to make this film fresh yet familiar by reworking the original storyline using social media as a new way of going on a killing spree. This film is almost as good as Scream 1, but as Sidney Prescott says in Scream 4, “Never try to remake the original.”

Scream 4 is currently available at Amazon Prime, iTunes and on DVD!
